These purpose-built communities offer private, dignified units in a service‑rich environment where residents can stay connected to case managers, complete paperwork, and prepare for their eventual move into permanent affordable or supportive housing.

NextStep™ is designed specifically for individuals and families who have already entered the housing system, been assessed, and are actively working on a housing plan, yet are stuck in limbo because their permanent unit, voucher, or placement is not yet available.

Instead of cycling between shelters, couch surfing, or returning to the street during this waiting period, residents of NextStep™ Communities have predictable housing, on‑site support, and a community of peers pursuing the same goal: successful transition into long‑term housing.
